See the Sun

A quarter is so small. The sun is so big.

Yet, when we hold a quarter in front of our eye and look up, it can block our entire view of the sun.

This illustration strikes me because I’ve had a life “quarter” hindering my outlook. I’ve focused on the one thing that’s seemingly wrong and- in the process- blocked my awareness and appreciation for much bigger and brighter blessings.

Are there any “quarters” hindering your views?

If so, identify and switch your thinking around them. For example, shift “I am so frustrated everything is changing in my job” to “I am so grateful I have work and the opportunity to learn and grow!”

Focus on the good and practice gratitude.

Trade your quarter for a great pair of shades and look to the light, absorbing its warmth and beauty.
