The hubs and I were in the yard today playing tag with the boys.
I chose to hide under a bush, which I think is actually a large weed.
That’s when I saw it: The most beautiful knockout roses that were in full bloom! It made me so happy!
They were in plain sight all along but, to see them, I had to look from a different angle.
“Oh no,” my husband said. “I feel a teachable moment coming on.”
He was right.
My friends- there is beauty all around. Sometimes it’s in plain sight… and other times it’s buried and we have to “bend” to see it.
I encourage you to keep looking for the roses of life… and if you bend… make sure to stretch first.
